  1. About us
    Aspiringteachers.org is an online professional development platform that is available for all teacher assistants, education assistants, aspiring educators, learnerships students and new teachers.
    It not only supports aspiring teachers to get ready to be a teacher, but also provides skills, knowledge and helpful tips to get a job. It also enhances newly qualified teachers and those aspiring to be teachers to gain training and development to be better equipped to do the job. This is achieved in their own time, at their own pace, in a cost effective way.
  2. Use of Site
    You may only use this site to browse the content, complete courses and make legitimate purchases and shall not use this site for any other purposes, including without limitation, to make any speculative, false or fraudulent purchase. This site and the content provided in this site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed. ‘Deep-linking’, ’embedding’ or using analogous technology is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of this site and/or the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws or other laws.
    You must only use the Service in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of Aspiringteachers.org. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within the Service.
  3. Disclaimer of Warranty
    The contents of this site are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement. The owner of this site, the authors of these contents and in general anybody connected to this site in any way, from now on collectively called “Providers”, assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in these contents.

    The Providers further do not warrant, guarantee or make any representation regarding the safety, reliability, accuracy, correctness or completeness of these contents. The Providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, general, special, incidental or consequential damages (including -without limitation- data loss, lost revenues and lost profit) which may result from the inability to use or the correct or incorrect use, abuse, or misuse of these contents, even if the Providers have been informed of the possibilities of such damages. You also agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from any Aspiringteachers.org content except for your own
    personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of Aspiringteachers.org content requires the prior written permission of Pinnock Consulting CC. The names, images and logos identifying Pinnock Consulting, aspiringteachers.org or third parties and their products and services are subject to copyright, design rights and trademarks of Pinnock Consulting, Aspiringteachers.org and/or third parties.
    Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be construed as conferring any license or right to use any trademark, design right or copyright of Pinnock Consulting, Aspiringteachers.org or any other third party.
  5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
    All content provided on or through the service, including the information, names, images, pictures, logos and icons regarding or relating to Pinnock Consulting and Aspiringteachers.org, its products and services (or to third party products and services), is provided “as is” and on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Aspiringteachers.org excludes all representations and warranties (whether express or implied by law), including the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.

    Aspiringteachers.org does not guarantee the timeliness, completeness or performance of any aspect of the service or any of its content. While we try to ensure that all content provided by Aspiringteachers.org is correct at the time of publication no responsibility is accepted by or on behalf of Aspiringteachers.org for any errors, omissions or inaccurate content on the service.

    Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes Aspiringteachers.org’ liability for death or personal injury caused by its proven negligence. Subject to the previous sentence, neither Aspiringteachers.org nor any of its officers or employees shall be liable for any of the following losses or damages (whether such damage or losses were foreseen, foreseeable, known or otherwise): (a) loss of data; (b) loss of revenue or anticipated profits; (c) loss of business; (d) loss of opportunity or anticipated savings; (e) loss of goodwill or injury to reputation; (f) losses suffered by third parties; or (g) any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages
    arising from the use of the service regardless of the form of action.

    Aspiringteachers.org does not warrant that functions available on or through the service will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the service or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to implement sufficient procedures and virus checks (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements for the accuracy of data input and output.

    In an attempt to provide increased value to our Users, we may provide links to other websites or resources. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not endorse and are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for the privacy practices or the content (including misrepresentative or defamatory content) of such websites, including (without limitation) any advertising, products or other materials or services on or available from such websites or resources, nor for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on

  10. We will use our reasonable endeavours to maintain the Website. The Website is subject to change from time to time. You will not be eligible for any compensation because you cannot use any part of the Website or because of a failure, suspension or withdrawal of all or part of the Website due to circumstances beyond our control.
  11. Privacy Policy
    We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy applies to all the web pages related to this website. All the information gathered in the online forms on the website is used to personally identify users that subscribe to this service. The information will not be used for anything other that which is stated in the Terms & Conditions of use for this service. The Site may collect certain information about your visit, such as the name of the Internet service provider and the Internet Protocol (IP) address through which you access the Internet; the date and time you access the Site; the pages that you access while at the Site and the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to our site. This information is used to help improve the Site, analyze trends, and administer the Site as well as to fulfill the reporting obligations promised by the site (e.g. SACE and School reports). We may need to change this policy from time to time in order to address new issues and reflect changes on our site. We will post those changes here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information, and whether we will disclose that information to anyone. Please refer back to this policy regularly. If you have any questions or concerns about our privacy policy, please send us an E-mail.
    By using this website, you signify your acceptance of our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our site. Your continued use of the website following the posting of changes to these terms will mean that you accept those changes.
  12. Cookie/Tracking Technology
    The Site may use cookie and tracking technology depending on the features offered. Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customize the Site for visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology; however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.
  13. Using the Online Professional Development Service
    Please read the description for Aspiringteachers.org carefully before placing your order as refunds cannot be given (see section16 below).
    Aspiringteachers.org warrants that it has the right to provide the Online Professional Development Service and will use all reasonable skill and care in making the Online Professional Development Service available to you and in ensuring its availability. Because of the nature of the Internet, errors and omissions do occur and Aspiringteachers.org does not give any other warranties in respect of the Online Professional Development Service.
    Aspiringteachers.org is continually seeking to improve the Online Professional Development Services. Aspiringteachers.org reserves the right, at its discretion, to make changes to any part of any Online Professional Development Service provided that it does not materially reduce its content or functionality.

    In the event that Aspiringteachers.org withdraws or is permanently unable to deliver a partial refund will be given covering the portion of the time that remains of registered time.
  14. Posting of content
    Some Online Professional Development Services allow you to post content to the Aspiringteachers.org website including asking questions about the course, posting completed assignments, and taking part in discussion boards. All content which you provide or upload to our website shall be subject to the relevant provisions of our General Terms & Conditions.
  15. Registration
    In order to participate in and contribute to Aspiringteachers.org courses and communities you are required to register with Aspiringteachers.org. Any personal information supplied to Aspiringteachers.org as part of this registration process and/or any other interaction with Aspiringteachers.org will be collected, stored and used in accordance with Aspiringteachers.org’ Privacy Policy.
    To register on this website you must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct and complete.
    You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details in order that we can communicate with you effectively.
    All user accounts must be registered with a valid personal email address that you access regularly so that moderation emails can be sent to you. Accounts registered with someone else’s email address, or with temporary email addresses may be closed without notice. We may require users to re-validate their account if we believe they have been using an invalid email address. You must keep your password and username confidential and not disclose them or share them with anyone. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your password you should notify us by contacting admin@pincon.co.za immediately.
    Sharing of usernames and passwords is strictly prohibited. Aspiringteachers.org reserves the right to immediately terminate access to online training if it reasonably believes that more than one user is accessing the online training using the same login details.

    If Aspiringteachers.org has reason to believe that there is likely to be a breach of security or misuse of the website, we may require you to change your password or we may suspend your account. Aspiringteachers.org reserves the right to close accounts if any user is seen to be using proxy IPs (Internet Protocol addresses) in order to attempt to hide the use of multiple accounts, or disrupts any of our services in any way.
    If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting a community or annoying other users you may have action taken against all of your accounts.
  16. Availability of the Service
    Although we aim to offer you the best service possible, we make no promise that the services available at Aspiringteachers.org will meet your requirements. We cannot guarantee that the Service will be fault-free. If a fault occurs with the Service you should report it to support@ Aspiringteachers.org and we will attempt to correct the fault as soon as we reasonably can.

    Your access to the Service may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to restore the Service as soon as we reasonably can.
  17. Aspiringteachers.org right to suspend or cancel your registration
    We may suspend or cancel your registration immediately at our reasonable discretion or if you breach any of your obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
    You can cancel your registration at any time by informing us in writing at admin@pincon.co.za If you do so, you must stop using the Service and no refunds
    will be given.

    The suspension or cancellation of your registration and your right to use the Service shall not affect either party’s statutory rights or liabilities.
  18. Delivery Policy
    When you click to make a purchase with us legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card or paid in any other way agreed by us, are limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree all our terms and conditions.
    Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website. Refunds, Credits or booking transfers of attendees are not available once you have logged into the Online Professional Development Platform.
    Within 48 hours of purchase (during the working week), a confirmation email will be sent to the customer acknowledging payment and successful enrollment in the course.

    The customer will have full access to all Aspiringteachers.org courses for the period of registration. Customers will be required to create a username and password for logging into the site and accessing the course content. One month before renewal is required, the customer will receive an e-mail reminding them of their renewal payment due. Should the customer not renew their registration, their progress data and record of points will only be kept for a period of 6 months after which it will be deleted.

    While customers are registered they will have full access to all courses and their data and points over the period of registration.
    Registrations of large groups or schools are done via the Aspiringteachers.org office and once payment has been received, the group will be loaded and each participant sent an email to register.

    Aspiringteachers.org does not commit to submitting educator’s SACE professional development points. It is the responsibility of the customer to submit these directly to SACE. Aspiringteachers.org does not take any responsibility for any negligence or inefficiencies of SACE and the entering of points and data.

    Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment.
  19. Refunds/returns Policy
    Refunds, Credits or booking transfers of attendees are not available once you have logged into the Online Professional Development Platform.

  21. Payment Options and Pricing
    Your order is an offer to purchase Online Professional Development Services from us. The Online Professional Development Service will be made available to you once your payment has been authorized and the course session has started. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until you make authorised payment for the Online Professional Development Service. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the Online Professional Development Service to you without giving any reason. The fee for the Online Professional Development Service is calculated and payable in advance of the course start date as set out on Aspiringteachers.org. The Company shall be under no obligation to provide the Online Professional Development Service until the fee has been paid. All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated.

    Your credit/ debit card details are not handled by Aspiringteachers.org or Pinnock Consulting. All payment and all credit card handling is through the third party, Payfast. We do not store any credit card details. Authority for payment must be given at the time of placing your order.

    All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).
    Aspiringteachers.org reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.
    Credit Card
    We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options, or simply log off and return to the site at a later time to complete your order. All of your order details will be saved online under in the Your Account section available for use whenever you’re ready! Sorry for the inconvenience.

  22. Security Policy
    Virtual Card Services process all credit card transactions. All credit card transactions are 128 bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) encrypted. The company registration documents and the site’s registered domain name are checked and verified by Payfast, ensuring the cardholder and merchant that nobody can impersonate Payfast to obtain confidential information. Payfast is committed to providing secure online services. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Payfast Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
    The Merchant does not have access to credit details.
    Payfast continually reviews and enhances its security in line with technological
    changes.
  23. Monitoring
    We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).
  24. The Law
    The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

    We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within South Africa.
  25. International use
    We make no promise that materials available on or through the Service are appropriate or available for use in locations outside South Africa, and accessing the Service from territories where its contents are illegal or unlawful is prohibited. If you choose to access the Service from locations outside South Africa, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
  26. Updating of these Terms and Conditions
    We reserve the right to change, modify, add to or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.
  27. Consent
    I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to Pinnock Consulting CC and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Pinnock Consulting CC for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.
